Ive been looking at all the sniper threads and i think its hiliarious, I myself am a paintball sniper, I have come to find that the ones who get irritated when people say they are a sniper have the e-grips and the response triggers which tell me that you are the guys that go throught 1000+ balls per round and never do any damage. And you cant hit your target far away. Im not shooting down people that have e-grips and response triggers i have an e-grip myself but i use less paintballs per round than anyone i know and ive got pinpoint aim at really far distances, And most the time they never see me so tell me, Is that not a sniper? On dictionary.com the definition of sniper is "a shot, usually from a hidden position" It says nothing about being super far away snipers can be far away but who says they have to be. It also says

5. to shoot at individuals as opportunity offers from a concealed or distant position

So basically snipers shoot farther distances than regular guns with precision accuracy. Only way to get that kind of distance is turning up the velocity to an illegal amount.

Why do all the new members always make sniper threads?

Im Just curious why you guys cant accept that there ARE snipers in paintball, the people that dont like snipers are just jealous because their aim sucks.

O and your defenition says Concealed or distant position, not Concealed AND distant position, So when you guys find a real reason let me know.

everyone wants to be that glorious sniper, the one who never misses... lol when i started i posted something simmilar... what gun do you have? i have an autococker and i can hit about anything within 60 feet, thats the standard you want. what do you consider far? i know ive hit people with my a5 with the flatline at about 120-30 ft, but i shot a slew of paint. if you think anything even 200 ft is far, check out the barret, a real sniper, that thing flies at 2700 ft per secound, armor peircing and semi auto with a ten shot clip, that thing can shoot acuratly to about 1.5 miles, so if you can hit something with your paintball gun acuratly at 1.5 miles away, call yourself a sniper.

Please give me some sort of argument for the existence of snipers in paintball.

All you have been saying is "OMG SNIPERS DO EXIST" and you have yet to give a reason why.

I give him credit, he is not as annoying as others.

You really cant snipe in paintball. Sure, you can shoot from a concealed position, but you cant get a ton of accuracy from a paintball gun.

 

If there was a real paintball Sniper Rifle, I would be one of the first to buy it.

spec ops has a few stupid positions. I notice that each position they make has a "special" gun that they made for that position.

Saying that shooting people from a concealed position basically describes everyone that hides behind something. So basically by his definition, everyone that hides so they are not hit, are snipers. So everyone playing speedball are snipers because they conceal themselves behind bunkers.

Well I play alot of woodsball and thats when I like to Do that, However im not trying to argue im just wondering why you guys are so bent against the existence of sniper, One guy who obviously watched superweapons (thinks he a military genius) thought he knew something that noone else knew, was talking about the barret well ok yeah its an amazing sniper rifle and i know that a paintball gun with anything done to it would never touch the barret in distance but compare the best paintball gun to an ak, or a ar-15 if you look at it like that then paintball gun cant even be considered a gun, and you are just wasteing your time becuse, in that case there isnt even such a thing as a rifleman cause if you were up against someone with an ak in target practice, you wouldnt go a fraction of the distance of them. So why cant we be called snipers if you can be called a paintballer? It sounds to me like your tired of getting picked off by someone that you dont even know where they are.

That didn't even make sense.  The mag is there for the purpose of giving me the perfect grip to rotate left to right with and I don't shoot when I'm crawling.  And yeah, your 98c with stock hopper surely blows away my A-5 with QEV, Vortex, Lightning Bolt, etc.
