    Posted: 28 June 2007 at 10:38am

My X7 seems to be leaking near the magazine clip/tombstone. When i take out the tombstone, the small o-ring on it is perfectly fine and there are no holes in any of the tubes. When I put co2 in the marker, it seems fine for 5 seconds until it then leaks or when I shoot the X7 then it leaks continuosly. Could someone help me with this, thank you.

I would guess the tombtone is leaning away from the o-ring and breaking the seal. Used to happen on my A5 if the hose was putting alot of pressure that pulled on the tombstone.

Can you adjust your hose setup any so there isnt as much force on the tombstone? If not, you could try cutting up a piece of paper to stick on the back side of the tombstone as a shim to really force it in there against the o-ring.

I am taking apart my Tippmann X7 and so far i took the trigger frame off, the gas line, magazine clip, and im wondering if the tombstone is the problem.

Can someone tell me what to do next to fix the problem? thank you.

Now I have tooken out the tombstone from my X7. What should I be looking for if something near it or it is leaking? I could use as much help as possible.

I went to the local paintball store and they said that the valve is broken inside the marker. So im having them replace the valve with a new one. Hopefully i'l be good as new.

Thanks for the help Enos.
