Most places don't eliminate you from splatter, and that is more or less what that would be...splatter.

What would be totally kewl is if we could make paintballs that are made out of solid lead. That would definitely hurt more, and stop the wipers too.

You are not taking into account the 36% chance of the hand of god guiding them to their target. |

could happen, unless you test it you cant prove anything. "Dude, you should drive your car into that tree, you'll pass right through it!" "Uhm, no I won't, I'll just hit it. My car is solid..." "Won't know until you try it man, screw that science stuff!" "... ... ... I need better friends." This has been another example of your viewpoint. Take a moment to let what you said sink in... ... ...now say your sorry to Carl. |

*NOTE* This is all assuming that the added grams of weight due to all the extra gelatin inside the paintball would still allow it to fly.* *If creating this paintball were even feasible due to the increased difficulty in both making smaller paintballs, but then fitting them inside ANOTHER paintball. 1) Your "new" paintball. 2) Your "new" paintball, flying at a branch. 3) As the gelatin capsule of the paintball strikes a hard object, the casing bends and folds towards the area of negative impact. The red symbolizes the waves of negative energy as they travel through the paintball. Since the area of the break in the paintball would also be where the paintball folds towards, any "bb-pbs" that somehow managed to survive the first impact would have no way to fly out of the paintball. 4) With such an increased amount of gelatin reducing the amount of fill and consequentially also containing even more of the spray, would cause almost all of the fill to remain at the spot of impact. In a way, it could possibly be a positive impact in tournaments, creating a thicker break. In Conclusion, don't shoot at branches. Have a nice day! |

well presented usaf, the idea as it is would be impractical to manufacture, and probably not work as intended. I think it would be easier and simpler to attempt a design for some kind of paintball shotgun shell ... and that has probably already been discussed at length in this forum. |
