Accuracy Help Please

Flatlines are known for inaccuracy. A J&J would be better, but 20" is a bit excessive. I would get at most a 14", 16" is pushing it. The length of the barrel doesn't really constitute how far the ball will go. At least when talking about barrels from the 10"+ range.

Turn your velocity down some and try shooting your gun w/ flatline. If still pretty innaccurate turn it down a little more, it will never get to go perfectly straight every time but you can improve the accuracy

I would recommend a 12", but sometimes a little length is good for bending bunkers (in speedball), but I wouldn't go past 14".

feaks are good and have lots of inserts, lol why would you want a gun better than your friends? isnt that a little cheap? get a gun thats similar to theirs with no advantages and destroy them, using minimal amounts of paintballs, then call yourself a marksman and improve your gun.  flatlines hsould run at 270, you get maximum backspin without putting to much force on it and making it spin improperly in the barrel. it also depends on your paint caliber, the paint to bore match is pretty key, barrels dont actually have as much influence on the acuracy, yes it will always help, but the paint quality, firing system and operation pressure all affect performance. if your looking for a good barrel suited for all situations, try a knockout barrel kit. they are very good, light, generally cheaper than other kits, have an assortment on features that i find help more than other kits, plus it has a longer back then the freak, as well as mutliple fronts varying from making your barrel 10inch, 12inch, 14 inch, 16 inch or 18, the porting is excelent and makes for a quiet shot, i put it on my a5 and it was so quiet! i got some actuall hits where i had to tell them to check their guns bcause i hit them without them feeling or hearing anything, and the a5 is a generaly loud gun. the 800psi operating pressure works well with the gun, co2 is good because the longer barrels are gas guzzlers. the other fronts allow you to go on fields that are different sizes (ex id never take a 18" barrel on a small feild, id take the 10-14" depending on my mood)  once again, if your new the variety, quality and low sound are perfect, only negative things are that they areny as tough as the freak and the long barrels suck gas alot.

Flatlines actually have pretty decent accuracy.

It's just when most people test accuracy, they test a straight barrel at say... 75 feet and the flatline at like 125 feet. Obviously, with longer range the balls will deviate more.
