You say to use other hoppers do you mean just for looks or are you thinking about getting it faster by putting an electric hopper on it?

I think that even with an adapter it would be a problem, because having a electric hopper feed into the cyclone and then feed into the gun would give you alot of chops. I think either upgrade your cyclone if you want more bps or just remove it and buy a electric hopper.

They don't make an adapter over the cyclone for an electric hopper, because one: it wouldn't feed faster (your still limited to the cyclone's feed rate), two: you can upgrade the cyclone to shoot fast enough, and three: the A5 was built only for the cyclone. Get a 98 custom if you want an electric hopper.

As RoboCop said, it would be pointless. You could put a Halo B on the cyclone and you'd still only feed as fast as the cyclone will permit you to. Think about it, you'd only be putting paint into the cyclone faster and the cyclone will still operate at the same speed.

Why would you want one?  As pointed out above, it would provide no advantage.  While the uber-fast electric hopper might feed at 40 balls a second, the cyclone will still feed basic cyclone hopper speeds.

they could easily make the cyclone electric.. but like stated before adding an electric loader on the cyclone wouldn't make sense

I was actually thinking about removing the cyclone completely.  Replacing it with halo hopper, and with custom adapter for the side.  But! the job is way over my head, It involve bending tube, cutting metal, and welding.

Why remove the best/primary feature of the A5?
