yo guys. im goin to skirmish ION tomorrow and theres a prob. with my brother's gun.  When i put the air on and shoot , the FPS is slow and after a few shots the gun blurps as if it it is out of air and i have to re cock it. Its not the air cuz i used it on my tippman and it works fine. I tried turning the FPS up but it didnt help.  PLease if anyone has had this problem or is good with guns please tell me what to do. Thanks in advance

Boy, that could be a bunch of things.

What upgrades are on the gun?  Is it old?  Is this a new/sudden problem?

Need more data.

Information is bad, mmmkay?

Try it without the stock.  That could be the problem.  Do you have the original endcap?

The stock replaces the endcap.  The endcap/stock places pressure on the drive spring.  Not enough pressure = not enough air through the valve = the problem you are describing.

If you can swap back the endcap we can determine if the stock is the problem or not.

You should also make sure that the floating O-ring that take the place of the bumper is still in the gun and that your powertube screws are tight.  And try swiching air tanks because my 98 custon did that Saturday but all I had to do was swich air tanks and it was fine.  I tried the same air tank on my A-5 and it work perfectly.  Just a couple suggestions.

Your drive spring may simply be too weak.
I know mine has become a bit weak (I can't get it over 245 FPS, and it double fires occasionally), so I'm going to replace it with a replacement I've got once I stop being lazy :P
