Hello , new to paintball . Purchased A5 , WAS Grip. Hard to program it, then has rapid fire that almost freezes the gun.. Gun has hard time to go to program mode ! Had a friend program it to 3 burst. it was fine. then it would act up strangely. So i would like to ask if the X7 E Grip with selectable shots would work on the A5 ? thanxs for any advice or tips...

No it wouldn't, sorry. There really is not much of a difference between them though. With enough modification it could work too

No i havent tried the ape board. i would think the A7 would be easier , just by selecting the firing option of the tip side switch...
it WAS boards having problems why dont they fix them or recall them to replace them ! ?
and Ty for the help ! |

I also have an A5 with the WAS board, and I had a difficult time getting it to go into the programming mode too, but you just have to play with it a little- it will work. I also had a problem with the debounce- the stock setting as it came from the factory was way too low, so shooting on semi-automatic was like ramping, and it messed up the other shooting modes. Try setting your debounce to around 35 milliseconds: that fixed the biggest problems with my E-Grip. |

Nice tip, TB, I hadn't heard that one yet. I have a WAS that I was considering using on another project but was leary of giving myself headaches with it. Maybe this'll be the solution. Will update. |
