well depends, every gun can suck if it breaks, i dont know which gun has the least amount of acuracy, durability, speed and performance (i put speed because that can be disirable) i tend to dislike any gun that has excess amounts of plastic, guns under 50 bucks brand new arnt that good... once again, its the player not the gun, ive been with a guy who had some 80 dollar gun from canadian tire that looked so crappy and we totalled 3 guys with high end guns.  lol check pbreview.com and see what marker has the lowest rating, ill check for you maybe

see a lot of guns have 10, but some that are rated 10 are better than others, its all up to your preferences really, its the person not hte gun.   when someone plays paintball for the 1st time and gets shot before they shoot someone, at that moment theyre hit to out ratio is 0% and technically they are the worst, to make sure, get all those people together and have a big free for all game, who gets shot 1st is the worst player.... lol id be in that game, i was shot in like the first 7 minutes played, but would you call me the worst player now?

I've had more than enough bad experiences with Brass Eagle and Kingman products to consider them junk. I don't know if they're the worst because I haven't tried everything out there but I do know I'd probably never buy a gun from either of those companies after what I've seen/experienced.

The newer Brass Eagle stuff is highly unreliable, making them some of the worst guns available.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

brass eagle is deff my choice for worst company overall, except for the monster balls they make.  i have a friend who bought a brass eagle striker, it broke literally(sp?) after the first 20 shots.

Brass Eagle used to be a good company, but I don't feel like getting into it right now.

I think it would be absolutely fantastic if Brass Eagle came out of left field and just released an amazing line of guns . Anyways....when did they make quality guns? I don't remember ever hearing anything good about their products, though I have only been playing for about 6-7 years.

Back in the day, Brass Eagle had affordable, reliable, American made products. They started out in the 80's with the Cobra and Nightmare pumps, which are decent old-school brass pumps. I think Nightmares are serious collector items now. Then, after a while, they were the first company to introduce the Angel to America. Brass Eagle imported these amazing electropneumatics from WDP, founding one of the most prestegious line of markers today. Eventually, WDP took care of their own business, but the first Angels were imported by BE. Then, in 1998, BE created their own EP paintball gun, the Rainmaker. The Rainmaker was a fairly unique design, the only other marker similar to it (in fact, this was the marker that inspired Rainmaker design) was the Air Powered Vector. The RM only lasted 3 years, however, as it was clunky and fairly unreliable. Today, however, the Rainmaker has a decent following, being an AMAZING gun to tinker with. It's one of my favorite markers. About the same time the Rainmaker was introduced, BE created a line of introductory mechanical markers, made of a tough polymer, not a cheap plastic, marketed towards beginners. These markers were very tough and reliable, and are what got me started years ago. Such markers are the Tigershark pump, the Stingray, Stingray II and the original grey Talon.

In about 2004ish, K2, a shareholding company, bought out BE, cancelled manufacture of their polymer markers, and began outsourcing. Nowdays, all BE markers are made of cheap plastic, are horrible guns and are made in China. More bad news: K2 also owns JT, Viewloader, and WGP. That's right, the company that ruined BE has taken control of Worr Games Products, the original marketer of the Autococker of which many of us know and love.

Oh dear god we're screwed. But anyway, thanks for the history lesson, it was quite educational . Also, the first gun I ever played with was my friend's BE Stingray 2.

Which, ironically has been bought out again. K2, that is.

The first real gun for me to actually shoot was the Stingray II, I believe. I did some pretty accurate shooting with it and was hooked. I was actually hooked to paintball before I ever really had seen it been played. I got on here and learned a lot about Tippmanns and bought a 98 custom.

Same here actually, lol. My friend found out about it when I was in 8th grade and after he told me I started looking up information and for months I was fixated on playing. Then I found out another friend of mine had a few guns so we got a group together and played. A year later, I got my first gun (98c) and have been playing ever since.
