1.Is there a better way to remove my C02 tank without releasing so much air. when I go out to target practice I ussually don't use up all my C02 so I leave abut half in and unscrew it but I end up loosing like 2 seconds of air is there any way to stop this?

2.What pod pacs are some of the best? I don't plan on getting a remote so thats not an issue but I need like 3 or 4 pods to suffice my GUNS (a-5) paint thirst. I hate having to not be usefull in a game when i'm out ( I DO NOT LEAVE THE GAME WHEN I AM OUT CAUSE I CAN BE ANOTHER SET OF EYES AND I HAVE VERY LITTLE RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO LEAVE THE GAME BECAUSE THE;RE "OUT OF PAINT''

( I had another question but I forgot it)

EDIT: now I remember I might get the LAPCO 12' for my A-5 any complaints/praises with one?

That air is just the air that's left in the gun... Even if you have a remote (which I have) you still need to shoot the rest of the air out or use a slide check otherwise theirs too much pressure to take the hose off.

Just get an on/off asa so that you can leave the co2 tank on the gun, but turn the air off from the gun.

I love my Unique pack 4+3. I like the packs with individual slots that push the pods into your hands and use velcro.

You can get an on/off valve for your ASA. As for packs, I use a PCS encounter vest. Not a pack or very speedball-ish, but very, very nice

Here is a nice pack for your size. Has velcro and straps that stretch so you can get it as tight as needed.

As for the air coming out of your tank, it isn't all that much. If your at a field after taking off your tank you can do what I do and ask them to top the tank off. As you have already paid for all-day air they don't mind. I never leave the range without refilling my 20oz for any renegade games and my 9oz for testing...which reminds me, I need to go pack my niner with my stuff for tonight.

1.  Shoot Less.

2.  That air is that leaks out wouldn't even be a full 2 shots.

3.  Spend saved money on Lapco bigshot.

There you go.

I was at my feild today and realized

"if I do anything more than upgrade my barell I'm gonna look so hardcore compared to all these noobs that just have completely stock guns! I only saw one guy with a pod pack and he had a little 2 pod pouch thingy even as it was with my stock A-5 and my JT flex 8 camo all the noobs were staring and getting their parents to come see me ( I hate when they do that) if I arrived with a pod pac with a remote to my HPA and a Mislimed A-5 they would be scared of me lol

1. An on/off ASA is nifty but learning the proper way to remove the tank is free. Either option will solve your problem but one will cost you some money. The proper way to remove the tank is described in your other thread by myself and a few others, you can refer to that if necessary.

2. I had a 32* 4+1 pack when I first started and it got the job done but the plastic clip on the belt broke so I stopped using it. I got a redz dimension 3.2 shortly after and only stopped using it recently in favor of my scenario vest since I can hold a buttload of stuff on it. The redz pack was very comfortable, the belt actually helped to support my back which is always a nice feature. The only bad thing about it is that the elastic loops are quite a pain to use. I only attempted to use them once and it was a nightmare. It's so difficult to get a pod into them that even my friend struggled to get the pods back in for me. Also, once they're in, they make the inside of the harness (part that goes against your back) curve instead of being flat which felt uncomfortable. Needless to say, I never used those 2 loops again. For normal games, 3 pods is more than enough paint to last the whole game anyway. My vest is definitely my favorite harness though. Not only can it hold the 4 pods on the back but I can attach pretty much whatever I want to it at nearly any spot on the front (gotta love the MOLLE stuff).

3. I have used the Lapco Bigshot for years, huge improvement over the stock barrel. Other good choices would be the J&J Ceramic or Powerlyte Speedline. I have 2 ceramics and I use the speedline on my A5. Ceramics are as easy to find as the bigshot but sadly the speedline was discontinued. I've heard good things about the Stiffi and I've actually seen one in action. They're expensive (about $100) but they are really friggin' accurate from what I saw. However, I don't know that they're $70 more accurate than the ceramic so you'd probably be better off getting a bigshot or ceramic instead. There's also the flatline or apex if you're interested in some extra range and a flatter trajectory, though those 2 are also a bit pricey.

Unscrew the tank until you get to the point where it will shoot out. Or just half a turn.

Shoot the gun till it will no longer fire. Unscrew the tank the rest of the way.

I'm oldschool so I think I'm gonna go to my store instead of giong to buy a 14'' J&J instead of buying online

but I think that I'm going to buy a beanny on Smartparts its only like $20 so I feel its a good place to start because I don't like using a cap because it limits the sight and less comfrtable and it looks sweet!

http://www.smartparts.com/Store/default.aspx?Prod=5647a3ec-d 200-476b-8f6f-79500af58281

and I might get an NXE 07 the one with the fexible-ness

so I think this thread is done unless someone wants to post a pic of their J&J on their gun that would be cool

thanks guys
