I just got myself the APE rampage board for my A-5.  I can't get it to work.  It seems to work beautifully w/o the CO2 connected but once i screw the tank on it goes nuts.  All it does is full auto no matter what mode i set it in.  Is there a setting i should mess with or am i just retarded and installed it wrong?

Does it stop firing when you release the trigger? Or does it keep shooting? If it stops, then you might want to make sure the metal clip on the back side of your trigger is removed. If it doesn't and keeps firing, one big thing to check is the metal "ramp" or clip that is attached to the micro switch, make sure that it is bent upwards enough that when your trigger is released it closes the switch completely and the vibration of the marker firing doesn't make and break the switch.

Thing is, I bought a rampage to remedy the w.a.s board I had's problem of run away firing and it works great, I had another 3500+rd day yesterday and had absolutely NO issues with it what so ever.

Be sure to reply when you fix it to let us know the problem and how you fixed it.

I've never heard of this problem with the Rampage board nor did I experience it myself so I'm sure there's an easy fix here. Like pitbull said, check the switch. Does it go full auto in semi auto mode? That would probably imply that the trigger sensitivity is way too high and the recoil is causing the trigger switch to be activated again. You could mess with the debounce setting to try to eliminate this but I would try fixing the switch first. You can bend the metal piece coming off of the switch if you need to in order to make it work with your trigger. Another important thing that pitbull mentioned is that you need to have the metal slide removed from your trigger in order for it to work properly with the egrip. Make sure that is not in there or it will most likely cause a problem. Also, make sure your tank isn't empty before you do anything to the gun. Wouldn't want to mess with a bunch of other stuff only to find out that you were just out of air.

Sry I took so long to check your replies.  I decided that maybe I should check the APE website after I posted here and they had the solution there... imagine that huh?  Anyway it was the clip on the back of the trigger just like you guys said.  Thank you for the reply.
