Ok, read the poll, let us know what you think. Do we look the part or not? We definately try and play it. My names Jeremy, aka Salami, we are woodsballers. Milsimmers. Scenarioists. Paintballers. Nuts too btw. All in all, crazy mofos! This is a show your markers thread and today we went down to one of our spots to work on some of our drills etc... I been meaning to drag a camera along so here you go, enjoy the ride.
Last pic for silly randomness. And yes, we made our own 3 point slings, sometimes you can't buy everything and have to get inventive. Basically, in the first picture, Im on the left. I have a 98 custom, Tapco AK folding stock, a Flatline barrel, some real gun parts, the forward sling point is off a hunting rifle, the rear one is the spare loop off of my friends CAR stock, and the Picatinny rail is actually meant for a .22 but it works here just as well. Capping it off is an SKS scope, I know kind of useless but.... fold in the stock and I can hold it perfectly in front of my eye, my mask is just shallow enough its the right eye relief, works great for scanning ahead to spot people. ;) I have a surplus CMVS, Combat Medics Vest System. Its a great Molle harness, load bearing and I have 4 pouches initially meant for medical supplies that hold the short 100 round or 2 50 round pods. Works perfect. On the back is a Camelbak HAWG pack meant for hydration and carrying gear, Military model for camelbak and a great pack, holds my HPA nicely, well concealed, can carry 2 actually, great place to store all of my other gear, I arrive and leave self contained, it works great. In the middle is my best friend Jeremy, I know same name. Hes got an A5. Its got a 2 piece cp barrel 16 inch, with a lapco silencer shroud, gives it somestability and a place to hold like a proper rifle, a SAW stock, RT trigger, a high pressure recharge, ill have have to ask him about that again, a gas through for a grip, I know its big but works for him, I think he has some better springs in it after that recharge thing, hes got the cyclone tech t thing in there, I honestly can't remember but lemme tell you that guns rocking and he can really reach out and touch someone, he went for the swat tactical vest thing, works well for him. Finally, theres Chris, hes like me, more of a 98 kinda guy, this guns got a RT as well, CAR stock, flatline, a custom plug, he ditched the ASA and made his like the Tippman sniper one was like, and finally the custom Camo paint job. Looks good I think. There might be something else Im not sure, Ill have to ask again. He also went more for the Mil surplus thing, CMVS configured a little different than mine, but it works for us quite well. All in all, what do you think? Anyone in the S. Central to Central Texas region ever wanna trade paint with us, or whatever, let us know. Off and on we have played with other like mined guys, but nothing really materializes, people come and go, we would like to get something permanent going, go to Tactical and possibly that Oklahoma D Day thing, as a real team. Cheers Jeremy aka Salami

Mother of pearl, you're skinny. Well, y'all do look well equipped. When I play scenario or bushball, I usually just go out in a white mask and tie-dye shirts, so you probably blend in better than me. I'll have to hit you guys up for a game sometimes. I'm from Cypress, a northwest suburb of Houston. Edited by DeTrevni - 12 August 2007 at 3:58pm |

Welcome to the Boards.
Markers and gear looking good.Thou you all might want to invest in a decent pair of Boots or Cleats if your runners. Not only will it look more tactical. It's better anckle support. I cant count how many times I rolled an anckle charging in paintball. |

^Same here. Soccer or football cleats are cheap enough, which is what I like to wear.
You all look like you know what you're doing. |

thx for the welcome, the boots thing has been discussed before amongst us, honestly I use my hiking shoes, so far they work out great, we went for a general USGI theme but it did'nt have to be exactly, still noted, thanks for the suggestion, if your specificially referring to my friends Vans, he is actually prior military and has a pair of issued combat boots and usually plays with em, me and my friend like our hiking shoes, but today was just us going down there, seeing if people had messed with our area any, seeing if the creek water was down enough to cross to our other side and I figured why not suit up for the most part and take some shots, everyones always asking us what it looks like down there, sadly the creeks all flooded still, when its dry you can play down in it too, my friend just didn't wanna wear the boots and we were not actually playing today, just running some mock drills as usual, but not intense or anything, it was hot today, so we didnt wanna be out there too long anyhow

ha, no seriously, playing paintball in a robocop suit would be intersting, especially if you could actually draw your paint pistol from your leg like he did Edited by salami - 13 August 2007 at 12:39pm |
