    Posted: 15 August 2007 at 12:40am

This is the before pics of my a5 marker that I put togeather and these are the new ones! Thanks SSOK for the idea of moveing the shroud back!

There it is. I ended cutting so much metal out of the shroud that I bought that I thought that I had ruined it. The top had no support so I came up with getting this aluminum weaver rail off e bay and it is very rigid. Now the top is not  weak at all anymore. I ended up milling the top sight and milling off the bottom lip under th barrel. After that I filled in the Tippmann sticker area with some JB Weld and sanded it up.I had been toying around with the idea of some how getting rid of the a5 scepter mount so I went for it. I was really sketchy about this due to scepter being out of business and no way to get a new one. I ended up mounting it to the weaver rail like it is meant  to be.I did not want to JB weld the mag due to if I ever needed to get in there and do work to something.

(this is the look that i was going for-real steel-my bad i had it labeled as a m4)
I think the scepter M203 did not go well with it at all and I did not want to get rid of it. So I came to the conclusion that I had to make some sacrifices. I traded the MP5 stock for the M203 shroud to a friend. After that I traded the SD shroud and the Spec Ops clip for the  M4  mag and the collapsible 6 position stock. Then I ended up putting a JT vortex II fan on e bay and a JCS double trigger. With that money I bought the red dot laser and the stock pad.
I still was not  happy  with the mag though. I tried my had at making a mag well for it and looked like crap. I thought about buying one for it but $90 from Metadyne was a little more than I wanted to spend. So this is what I came up with for the mag. No well bu it puts it in the right spot. just cost me 2 hours with a band saw and dremmel tool.I did end up making the bottom plate for the mag out of the failed mag well attempt.
I wish that I would have taken a picture of the macroline fitting I ended up making. Oh well no big deal. All I did end up doing was getting a "T" and having a 90 out the bottom and a straight out of the side with a close nipple to the gun it self.
Upgrades:
-macrolined
-vortex
-lighting rod
-qev(broken new one coming)
-scepter grenade launcher
-ops gear M203 shroud (cut to fit scepter)
-6 position stock
-polished internals
-star fire bolt
-3rd generation w.a.s. board
-red dot laser
-stock pad
-empire 7 piece barrel kit
Thanks for looking!

Looks better than before. Any way you can cover up the tombstone? I'm glad you put a launcher on the m203 shroud, it wouldn't look right if you hadn't.

If you were so inclined, you could always JB Weld the tombstone into the mag so it visually flows better.

Purdy. About the only other thing you can do is move the shroud/launcher back.

It's TO black! Geeze why cant ya paint it pink with tiger stripes?! Oh yea and add small silver bells to it so I can hear you in the woods better.

PS the laser is "cute".

HaHa naw kid looks nice just get some paint action on it and I do think the tombstone being flush or such would be not a bad deal.

Thats the wrong barrel shroud for a M4 Carbine. Good gun otherwise though.

SSOK thanks for idea i will do that asap! I meant to label it as a m16 sorry snake 6 ....not the most exact mil sim I have seen but I think its ok. Thanks for the input guys! I am thinking about jb welding the mag and tombstone but I want to be sure that I feel complete about it first. Right now I am having a few ideas brewing. Any one here ever use bondo on a marker and how did it work?

I've heard that JB Weld performs better than Bondo with marker projects, but it has been used.
