trench ball

I think this game would be cool.

-Layout-

Each team has their own trench, inbetween the trenches is a flat field (trenches only 100feet apart or so, just out of range from opposing teams trench fire) with only a few symetrical bunkers inbetween.

-Object-

Try and take over the other teams trench while defending your own.

It would be cool because neither teams would have an advantage becasue the field would be symetrical, so you would need a strategy in order to win. It would be even coolr' if each team had a bit of time before the game to plant a few mines (without the other team watching) wherever they want but not in the other teams trench. And maybe one medic per team who would have to be inbetween two lines of fire to savfe people becasue thats the only place where kills would be.

Sounds like it would be a long ball stand-off, unless you put plenty of bunkers in between the trenches. It would be more fun if there were trenches closer together or even connecting with the other side, so you could stay in them while moving around the field. 

yeah u'd need some way to force/motivate advancement. people would be staying in the trenches lobbing balls at eachother.

haha what i think would be funny as ever would be to do a good ol' war of 1812 type game.. big field, 2 teams, lots of guys..  line up in rows and just fire till the last person stands hahaha.. team captains could throw on a snare drum to command their teams

I made trenchs and foxholes on my course, fun stuff.
