while everyone and their mother has done the M4 look i decided to go a totally different direction.  it still looks plain and not complete in the way of addons.  This will be the final look of my gun.

16"J&J ceramic barrel

X7 AK forestock, front sight, and mag

polished internals

still to come is an e-trigger and a one point sling.

Not bad, but it needs a stock.

I actually like it not insanely bulky and over done, or underdone with home made plastic mods and duct tape.

IMHO, you should get the wooden forgrip and make wooden grip panels.

most likely have to make them, i had to make my ak stock out of wood because i couldent find one, grab any kind of hard wood (oak, poplar, maple, walnut) and there you go?

oh is that front sight all the way to the end of barrel?

not all the way  its about 3/8 inch back.  thats where the gun im replicating has the front sight.   Ya it is a blurry picture and looks like the gun was cut off on the end.

If you still like the AK pistol, you could get tho folding stock and use the stock when you need it.

I know Tacamo makes A5 wooden AK barrels/stocks, and is in the process of making X7 ones. As for the other grip, that would have to be custom. I would offer to make a pair of wood grip panels for you, because I make panels for other guns, but I dont have an X7 to work with.

Your X7 looks more like AKS-74Y.
One from many based on AK-74.
I like it more =)
