i have a cmi tru flight 14" barrel now   but after 30 yards my paint vears severly   i think its my problem   so any sugesstions on a barrel that wont break the bank

like "diedonimpact" seid what paint are you useing.

try different paintball brands, some times you have to find out what brand will work better for barrel, or some times you might get a bad batch of paintballs...due to sitting to long.

Check the paint, but if you're set on getting a new barrel, I highly recommend a 12-14" JJ Ceramic.

i love my 12" JJ. also, before you go spending money, make sure your barrel is clean and dry when your shooting. the field by my house uses cheap paint and the coating on the balls rubs off in the barrel so you have to clean it often

woot for hammerheads... had it once miss fire but never veer. when u break paint in the barrel(this is a cool part) just shoot three times and it cleans itself out! also reverse ported=superquiet...even for a tippy its dang silent.

I reccomend a J&J Elite Kit.  No matter what kind of paint you use the multiple backs can handle it.  It also comes with a 10", 12", and 14" usually but now you can choose between 8, 10, 12,14,or 16 I am pretty sure.
Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your...
