Here is my 98. I know, it's horribly ugly but it was my first gun and an experimental. It gets the job done.
The only ups on it are:

Flatline, cyclone, trinity x-chamber, CP drop forward.





Here is my SP ion I just bought.



 NDZ Donut, Firing Can, Cocker threaded breech, Detents, Snatch grip; TechT L7 Bolt; Clippard QEV; Dye Sticky grips; Evil Detonator Regulator; Function On/Off; Virtue Red Laser Eyes; SP Q-Lock; CP Sling Trigger; Tac-One barrel.

I currently only have a gravity hopper for it but I'll get a Halo B or a, mind my spelling, rik-o-shay.

Yea your tippmann is pretty ugly lol, but in my opinion the ion makes up for it.

Ion looks good. The Trinity kills the 98c, like always. 
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

well, broken record; I HATE the mag on the 98 but the ions nice

but My filosify is fuctionality before looks so I geuse thats not bad to my standards

Good news, I've been wanting to get rid of that mag ever since I got it (does that make sense?) and my dad just gave me the okay to sell it.

Finally got everything done that I wanted to do to these things save a new barrel for the Ion. (which I have but don't have a pic of, it a SP linear)



CP Micro drop forward
JJ ceramic 14 inch barrel
Cyclone feed system
Double trigger

I actually like the Ions.  I think the stock bodies look best in black.

I dont like the OMGZ MAH ION IZ T3H 1337 PWNZ0RZ HYPER KIDZ FTW hype so I'm a little biased, but your ion is nice. Simple, yet effective.

Now, Mill and E-Bolt your 98c so it can compete with the Ion.

Personally I would lose the drop forward for a rail setup but to his, his own.
