Palmer Stabilizer

I'm considering a palmer stabilizer and i would like to know what kind i would need and if I need anything else for it to fit and operate correctly i.e. new hose, vertical adapters, etc.

I loved my female stabalizer. Gives the gun a much smaller profile and is overall more comfortable. You don't have to buy anything extra except maybe a 90* fitting for your hose line. That is unless there is one already on your ASA.

from my experience, you don't need palmer stabilizer. (but not all marker perform the same).

two of my friends had palmer stabilizer, one of them sold it and other one trade it. If you have a friends w/stabilizer, to try it out first.  You might not be satisfied with the out come/result.  I would suggest, spend your money on hpa tank, instead of that palmer.

Actually, it will.

Unless you are going to go low-pressure with your marker, the regulating the flow of air into it below 800-850psi will just starve the valve for air. CO2 has a constant stable gaseous state of 850psi, hence the standard operating pressure for most run-of-the-mill markers is between 800-850 psi to account for this particular property. High-pressure-output HPA tanks put out a regulated flow of 800-850 psi until the pressure inside the tank drops below that, then you will see a few shots drop short of the normal mark and you'll proceed to run out of air quickly since the tank is almost empty at that point. If you interested in fine-tuning your tippmann by going LP, or in getting another marker that requires HPA and an inline reg to drop the pressure, or if you play in cold climates and want to keep liquid out of the marker and regulate the input pressure using CO2 to keep from getting spikes, then a palmer's stabilizer would be a good thing to get. My personal opinion, go with a good HPA High-Output tank.

I have an X7 and I am kind of forced to stay with CO2 because my friend has a CO2 fill station. I am too weak to turn down free fills. I am new to paintball and I am not sure what a stabilizer does, or what a regulator does. What do they do, and do I need either of them? By the way, I also have a response trigger installed if that makes any difference. Thank you for any help.
