I installed a flatline barrel to my 98C and the ball goes goes pretty far but it
goes either to the left or right making it very unaccurate. But i have heard of many people just installing it wrong and thats what happens but iv taken it apart and reinstalled about 5 making sure to follow the intructions well becuase im starting to get frustrated. |

Welcome to the forum. Please do not take this as an insult. If you don't hold the gun completely vertical the spinning effect will force the ball sideways. If you are holding the marker vertical and the problem persists, people with knowledge of the 98C will give you further assistance. |

Also, make sure your velocity isn't too high. Shooting "hot" can make accuracy suffer and that nulls the extra distance you might get from doing that. I've noticed with certain (shoddy) paint that even 280fps is too high to get a straight shot. I had to dial-down to 260! :( Good luck! |

set your velocity at 270fps. That is the optimum velocity for the flatline. Make sure you use good round paint with small seams. Marballizers are great, as is X-ball silver/bronze and PMI premium.
