Today when I was playing piantball I noticed I was getting alot of broken balls compared to the last time I played.

The only thing I had done since my last time I used the marker was Clean and oil it. (only undoing the quick lock pins).

Today after I played I went to do a quick clean and look for something that could be causing broken balls. And I noticed the Cyclone feed seemed off maybe? The arms didn't go far back enough to totally clear the hole. Is that how its supposed to be.

compared to my 98C cyclone feed. the arms are at different spots. ON the 98C the arms are farther back. totally clearing the hole for the ball to fall into the gun.

Are there any little things I may have missed to check when I'm breaking balls. my clyclone had a bit of spotted paint but not loads  so im not sure where the balls are breaking exactly. The orange plastic ball catcher is in the right way as well.  The gun is only 3 months old too.

I have picts of teh cyclone feed to post but It seems I can't

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Kindly

Could be a number of things, starting with bad paint or bad paint to barrel match.  Any ideas on the paint you were using?  Not quite understanding your possible Cyclone issue.  What's the issue with posting pics?

Hey man thanks for the response.Well it seems I can only link to pictures that are already on the web.I don't see a spot to load pictures. (from your computer) If I could do that I could show you what im talking about.

the paint I was using was XO industries.

I had a smartparts barrel on the gun as well.

I haven't yet tested it with a factory barrel. I fired the gun today with no paint and watched the cyclone feed and it seemed to be running perfectly. Each shot it spun. I did about ten shots in a row fairly fast.

thanks kindly

Sorry to take so long to reply; missed your response.  Anyway, right above where you type your posts, there is a button with a picture of a little tree.  Use that to post pics, but note that the pics must be hosted first so you have a URL to use.  In other words, you can't post it directly from your computer.  Hope that helps.

In regard to the paint, if you still have a ball or two left, stick one in your barrel, blow into it, and if the ball pops out with out too much force being required, you have a good match and paint isn't the problem.  If it rolls right through or you turn blue trying to blow it out, a bad paint to barrel match could be the culprit.
