Hey, i have a tippmann a5, with a flatline, um. i went out to shoot it today, to test it for this weekend, and it dosn't even shoot half as far as it did yesterday. i changed the co2 to see if it was that and it wasn't , so please help me with my problem before this weekend when the game is , thanks !
P.S. The middle of the gun where the co2 line goes to has been leaking out of there, but i changed the o ring and it dosn't leak- i changed it yesterday when it was still shooting far, and it shot far after i changed it too, just today it started doing it for no reason. |

Have you tried messing with the velocity adjuster? If I'm not mistaken, you have to turn it in to remove the valve, which is how I assumed you changed its o-rings. Try backing it out a little.

try taking it apart and make sure theirs no dirt or paint inside, and check all your springs.

sounds like a blockage, or perhaps the end-cap isn't all the way in giving you too little spring tension.

As in it is now working to spec? or are you still facing the issue? Remember, you're going to need more air-flow to push the ball down the longer barrel of the flatline. Try chronoing in at 270, that's the best performance range for the flatline. |

try putting some oil inside of your power tube. A5 is very simple to fix, theirs not much in there to fix. Maybe its defect. be adviced that when aiming your marker high up, the paintball would go further. Gave us an idea of your paintball distance. try fixing your air leak first, maybe thats what causing the trouble.
edit:gave us an updt if your able to fix it. I would like to know whats causing that trouble for you. Who knows, it might happen to me one day too (knock on wood). Edited by Roweazie - 17 October 2007 at 5:05pm |
