Need help before satruday please.

Hey, my Tippmann A-5 is leaking ( blowing tons of c02) out of the middle of the gun where the silver cable goes that the co2 flows through, i re-sealed it with the white sealant tape, and it just seeps out now, but still leaks. can somebody please help me  before this saturday when the game is? Thanks!

unscrew the hose and wrap it with more teflon tape on the thread.

Yes it does matter. If you don't, the hammer may be pressing on the valve, causing the leaking. It's not necessary to cock it first, but it is a suggestion. After it is aired up, it should stop, but it is still something to try.

Hold on. Is it leaking from where the steel-braided hose enters the black adapter piece that then goes into the vertical adapter? Or is it the round reducer (the black piece that the steel-braided hose screws into) that is leaking from the vertical adapter?

uhm. the round reducer. i think . uh. where the co2 braided line connects in the middle of the gun, right after the trigger, it is leaking from the middle, not where the c02 goes in

I'd suggest, if the teflon tape isn't working, using blue (easy to break) strength loctite to seal the threads. Simply apply a little the the treads of the steel-braid, re-tighten it, and allow it to sit overnight before airing it up.
