The Randi Rhoades fiasco in NY is just totally out of hand. The initial kneejerk media report of a mugging, then the blogisphere calling it a right wing conspiricy attack, (was listening to Thom Hartmann this am and he railed the Neo-con attack as a motive for the mugging) and now the media is up to their armpits in alligators as she admits she fell while jogging, and after regaining her senses admitted no mugging occured. But the media jump and race to blame the Neo-Cons, and the blogisphere explosion was a wonder to behold.

If you're lazy, there were unconfirmed reports that Randi Rhodes, a liberal talk radio personality, was mugged while jogging in NY, lost some teeth, got beat up, etc. Apparently there was lots of talk in the "blogisphere" that it was a neo-con conspiracy, as she was not carrying a purse or anything. Then (also apparently) she admitted that she just tripped and fell, and made all the conspiracy-theorists look like a bunch of noobs.

Wow.  That just has three or four layers of "I don't care" on top of each other.

He played for Ozzy way back in the day.  Wrote Crazy Train, blah blah blah, and coincidentally shares a name with a lady who was beat in a neo-con conspiracy.

Wiki more! The one on Randi said that's her stage name she took from Randy.

I personally like Zakk Wylde...that man has a way with harmonics that is almost unbelievable.

Randy was the man "back in the day" though. Never got to see him in concert.

I even enjoyed Jake E. Lee's work. Little fella, enormous hair....and sound.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking....I don't know if the "blogosphere" would be flattered or insulted by his assertion though...lol...

Rhoades was twice the guitarist that Wylde is. Wylde plays fast, and has perfect harmonics, but Rhoades was an innovator and a master of classical guitar. He was just one of a kind.

Shame he wasted his talent on Ozzy.

I didn't know that.
Zakk Wylde was working in a gas station when Ozzy found him...when he wasn't playing with Steel Dragon.
