Iam looking for a new marker and i was looking at ICD Promaster or the SP Epiphany. Is there any major difference between the two and what would you guys recommend for someone reletively new to speedball.

The epiphany is is just an over-priced metal-bodied Ion that was put out to compete against the Invert Mini. So, you're basically paying for alright performance with a somewhat proven marker that you could get for less if you don't mind an abs plastic body rather than a powder-coat or anodized aluminum one.
I'm a big fan of the ICD markers. ICD was making popular and quality electros back when you couldn't give away a Shockers or Impulses. Their Bushmaster series of markers rapidly started dominating a good portion of the electro market and proved extremely reliable, fast, light, and efficient (all attributes which the spool-valve models of the day couldn't achieve) Their markers were so good that BBT, Kingman, and others all copied the design to make clones which worked just as well. The Pro-Master is simply the latest of the markers to come from the experiences that ICD had with the Bushie. It is small, light, fast, and reliable and requires little to no upgrading to make it sing. It flies out of the box, and at the current price, the only thing that would make me look elsewhere is the great deal on WGP SuperStocks right now. |

Man that's a good price on the Promaster but that milling sure is ugly. It would be a beautiful gun if they got rid of the Fonzarelli DA looking thing.

I love my backup Promaster. Although taking it apart to do maintenance is kinda crappy, since the whole gun has to be disassembled.
