Are there any current companies still using Autococker barrel threads? |

Yeah, the PMR is autococker threaded.
The only company I know for sure doesn't use Autococker threaded barrels is SP. Edited by jerseypaint - 26 October 2007 at 9:32am |

Currently the only markers which do not use A/C threaded barrels are Kingman and Spyder Clones, Tippmann (both Tippmann pneumatics and BT) and Smart Parts. Every other current marker with the exception of specialty Stock-Class ones use A/C threaded barrels.

I thought WDP markers use angel threaded barrels (I know the threading angels used changed w/ the A1 though to a new style angel threading). Edited by Commander_Cool - 26 October 2007 at 10:54am |

yeah, forgot WDP. Haven't seen many of them around recently at my local shops, kinda skipped my mind
Anyway, every company out there that makes after-market barrels uses the A/C threading as one of their options. The main reason so many of the newer markers use A/C threads is the abundance of tournament players who used an autococker at some point in their career and thus had plenty of barrels hanging around. |

Excellent. If I decide to get a Rail my current barrel situation will rock.

I hate how the Angel threads keep getting changed around. They need to just stop updating. I really don't want to jump into the Angel products because I might get a barrel for it just to find out it doesn't fit.

Oh cram it robo. They switched once, only because they needed to ditch the long threads so they could shorten the body. The barrels from the G7 Fly will fit the A1, and they are not going to switch anytime soon to a new one. Why would they? How would they? The threads as they are are comparable to A5 threads. I thought they had like 2-3 thread switches. I thought I heard the G7 barrels didn't fit the A1.

Take it from an Angel nut; they do. Also, technically, G7s use the old style threads. Edited by hybrid-sniper - 27 October 2007 at 3:18pm |
