and then it came true?

Funny story(well not really)

So there is this guy I know, and everyone I know hates him pretty bad. He is just kind of messed up. So I was talking about him with my friend the other day and I said some one should hurt him. Well last night he got stabbed in the eye.....  You should never wish bad stuff apon people.


Just thought I would share that with you guys. I have a link to the News story on it but I'm lazy so you are just going to have to belive me.

That's pretty nuts, like esp or something lol. My friends grandma did something like that; she's an old italian from the bronx, some guy was yelling at her or something for taking his parking spot and blew cigar smoke in he face. She grabbed his cigar and put it out in his eye.

Home football game sophomore year. One of our players was injured on the field. Everyone takes a knee when that happens and I whispered to the person next to me, "I hope it's Soandso." I was only kidding of course. When they carried him off the field I found out it was the person I had hoped. Felt kind of bad but the guy was just such an asshole so I couldn't help but say it.

Actually, if I'm psyched about something, just the opposite happens.


Gotten used to it after 19 years. Now I just keep my trap shut if something makes me happy.

My room mate has a history of parking his car in the wrong spot and one time he parked it and left it running as he ran up to the room to grab his guitar and I said "your parked in a handicapped spot, your gonna get a ticket" AND HE DID.

and then we all LOL'd at him bringing his total to 5 parking tickets in 2 weeks

My ex has taken a lot of psych classes this semester. I told her about it and she tried to give me some sort of weird psychology explanation. I really wasn't hearing it, but it's easier to just to play it off as something like that instead of thinking I have some for of esp or something.

I do the exact same thing (except not the Simpsons). I'll be driving or something, and a random scene from a sitcom will pop into my head, and the next time I watch tv, I'll see the episode of the show that I thought of, and I don't watch enough TV to simply see the ads for the next day's episodes or anything like that, it's just totally random.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Had a paintball tournament and we dominated everyone in pre-lims pulling away an undefeated score for the pre-lims. Had a score pattern of 95, 100, 95, 100, 95, 100, then a 97 (average for a BYE game). Got into the semis and won with 85 points with me as the last on the field. Next 4 games we lost and took 6th place. Too bad it wasn't like the regular tourneys we have where it starts in semis and goes straight to finals because we prolly would have taken 1st because we got tired after playing all day at the top of our game.

We thought we were going to win the whole thing and it was my first official tourney where I played the whole day and so my teammate was saying it is going to be my first tourney and it will be a 1st place finish. We must have got our hopes up too high and it just went downhill.
