Any particular reason you felt the need to mill out the top of the hammer section? I foresee a lot of dirt and crap getting in there and giving you a hard-time with your hammer o-ring.

the reason is that it cock's from the top not the side.
the slot on the top is the same length as the manufactured slot on the side... The hammers o-ring is never exposed. I was looking for something Different! somthing I had never seen before... Edited by rblade3 - 08 November 2007 at 2:11pm |

Its pretty nice, I did that to my project 98. It works really well, you just have to make sure you get all the metal burrs out of the way. |
