So I'm sitting here playing GH3 having a gay ol' time and I start to play Dragonforces "Through the Fire and Flames" and its a hell of a fun song to play, but... I really don't like Dragonforce, but after messing around with it for awhile I start to hum to it... then I find myself Downloading the Song... and now I actually bought the friggin album, and I find myself listening to it somewhat more then my other albums... Damn you Guitar Hero 3 on getting me hooked to a nerd band DAMN YOU'S!

Anyone else have this happen to them?  A band you don't like then a few months later(or years) you end up liking them?

I think it's a lot of fun to listen to and play. I still can't get past the intro on expert though!
I downloaded a bunch of the GHIII songs.  It's neat how after you play them in the game, you appreciate the song more. Some stuff I wouldn't give a second chance I am actually listening to now because of GH.

Happened to me. Ever since I realized my attraction to the lead singer of paramore I find their music much easier to listen to.

I dont really like Power Metal (DragonForce's genre) but DragonForce is alright...

why do you call them a nerd band though?

oh well

i enjoy playing My Curse by Killswitch Engage... i love that band... they are not a nerd band...

i think it'd be cool if they put some Black Dahlia Murder or As I Lay Dying on there.... maybe even some With Faith or Flames... that'd be awesome

i did have to buy the album The Fall of Ideals by All That Remains after playing SIX on GHII and hearing it played live
