I think tippmann should make a metal rachet that way they last longer and solve the braking rachet problem.

It would probably boost up the price a little and they figure if they make it then there would be no point in getting the TechT or the NewDesignz upgrades.

lol my cousin informed me he hadnt oiled his gun ever after using it quite a few times.  He didnt even put any in the ASA to shoot some through.  I was a little annoyed since he wasnt taking care of his X7.

It might have been the case back when Dennis Tippmann Sr and Jr were both majority share holders in the company, but an investment firm bought up a controlling share of stock a while back. Bottom line becomes more of the focus at that point. Mind you, they still care a LOT about the quality of the marker, but are willing to take the risk of replacing vs building a metal part that will cost more overall.

I doubt it will happen. The reason the ratchet wears is because you have 2 materials rubbing on each other. The 2 parts are of similar composition, so the wear is even.

If you make one of those parts out of a different material, then the other one will wear even faster.

yes i know what lub is and im not the only one having this problem with brand new out the box a5 have u read other threads on this forum but its cool i just found out there is a new rachet that is $35 so its all good no problem so keep it cool.
