Question For The Canadians

So I got into the living room, my mom is watching channel 9 ( Canadian channel, not sure if it's the same for you guys)

This show called Chilly Beach is on, kind of funny, but we couldn't figure out if it was a children's show our more of a Family Guy kind of show ? Was just wondering.

Noticed some domestic violence and whatnot and other things that American children shows would never have, but then again Canada seems to not care about what is said on their shows it seems which is what I love about some of the Canadian programs.

I think its kinda in between. It is normally on CBC I have watched it a few times. It could be a kids show, but It also has some family guy sort of humor.

Ya me and my one friend watch it alot, but my other friend always bugs us saying that it's a kids show.

Yea, the only Canadian channel we get is 9, which I think is CBC. After 9 they tend to have the shows that drop the f-bomb, something our shows would never do.

-There's little difference between the stuff allowed on American channels and the Canadian ones.

-Chilly beach was never realy that popular anywhere. It's humor was mediocre. It's kinda like american dad in popularity and quality.

But they censor it out, tons of our shows have swearing but it's all bleeped out. They play it uncensored here in the evenings. Yeah, watch CityTV here, after 9pm it's just porn. Showcase too.

City tv is porn past 1am not 9pm.

Is showcase canadian?
