Short story short, I have recently decided I need to not be so out of shape.

It's not that I'm horribly fat, ~6'1" 200lbs, it's my cardiovascular system that worries me the most.
To give you an idea of how terrible my CV system is right now: About an hour ago I decided to go for a jog. After only about a mile I felt like I was going to die and had to start walking. Took me a full ten minutes to be able to breathe correctly without having to spit. My lungs still hurt.
So, yeah.

Plan:
-Make use of campus gym, try to find time when it is not filled to bursting with various sports teams.
-Jog, or at least walk a lot, at night, since I'm up till at least 2 anyway.

Advice? Jokes to be made?

while jogging do some sprints from one point to another then return to the pre sprint pace of your jog. you'll improve run times faster that way. also every other week add half a mile to your distance of the jog. purchase a good pair of running shoes.

make sure you dont just do weight lifting in the gym. you'll want to do some calisthenics, aerobics whatever at least three times a week. do lots of things in your dorm, pushups, sit ups, crunches jumping jacks. anything you can think of to make you sweat some more.eat more fruits and vegetables. drink lots and lots and lots of water too.

EDIT: I'm talking like at the least two gallons a day of water

EDIT AGAIN: Oh and I am 5'8 and i weight 160. but i exercise a lot and a little weight lifting, but i mostly do cardio and calisthenics stuff.

I dropped some weight by running or walking a mile a day and drinking a gallon of water a day. It's crazy how well it works.

Over the summer I was riding my bike 15-20 miles every other day.  I stopped mid-way though.  I just tried to ride 2 miles last week and couldn't do it, I was so tired I had to get off and walk home.

my mom bought a treadmill two weeks ago, i've been running like two miles at 7% incline and then walking half a mile.  it's a ton easier on the treadmill, and I have the feeling that if I actually ran outside, I would have a heart attack.
I also don't eat very well...
But, I am taking a one a day men's?
17, and I'm sure I'll die by 30

I'm 6' 165lbs. I'm trying to bulk a bit...next semester. I went to the gym and played a lof of basketball, floor hockey, etc but not much weight training. I figured I needed to see how my schedule works. I'm excited to start the competition over break.

ive been working out again for the last few weeks, lifting every other day and biking daily (when i have the motivation) but i have to start running again...my eventual goal is to get an airborne school slot next summer from my school, which is a cut throat position so i really want it. goals are pretty good to have.

I'm a good 240 at 5' 11" I  would like to think I'm in all right shape considering I can still run a 8 minute (I've been working on it all winter.) In the strength category I can do a press handstand if anyone knows what that is.

Honestly I did it just because I'm the only goalie our LaCrosse team has and I was playing 3 to 4 games a week. I sweated a ton and just drank straight water no more coke or beer.

I would like to think since March I have made steady healthy progress from 265 and running a 13 minute.

No I just can't run distance. I'm not fat/weak by any means. I'm about 5'6" and last kid to pick on me was 6'4" and made an ass out of himself when I threw his ass on the floor.

Oh and tolgak, lawl at your sig. It wins.

20 pounds down since I started a few nights ago.

I can also run twice as far and twice as fast,do twice as many push ups, and do three times the sit ups.

Losing weight is as easy as this:

1) Cut down the food

2) Increase the physical activity.

That's exactly what my recruiter told me and has worked great so far.

You don't have to completely change your life, you just have to make some minor changes to your routine.
