So I'm looking for everybody's chill music. Basically, what do you listen to when you're either depressed, stressed, tired, whatever. I know we keep a million music request threads at one time, but I wanted people to post music that really hits them, or means something to them. Doesn't have to fit any one category, but I like earing things that have a deeper meaning to someone, it just makes the music better. Also, as a note, it's usually better for me not to watch the videos as much as listen to the music, that way the quality doesn't get away from the message in the music.

For me, here's a few (not all were on YouTube, and some of them are too common for me to bother linking to)-

My Kind of Scene-Powder Finger

John Mayer-Gravity

God Knows Why-Kid Rock

Yellow Ledbetter-Pearl Jam

The Doors-The End

Kenny Wayne Shepherd-While We Cry

Angel-Sarah McLachlan (Yes, I listen to that song...)

SRV-Life Without You

Metallica-Turn The Page

Stone Temple Pilots-Big Empty

The Killers-Everything Will Be Alright

The Beatles-Let it Be

Green Day-Are We The Waiting

Percy Sledge-Whiter Shade of Pale (Can't find the video, but if you haven't heard it, you need to)

Creedence Clearwater Revival-Who'll Stop the Rain

SRV-Little Wing

That's a few, I have a ton, but not enough time to post them.

I actually did. I've never really listened to that kind of music before, but you can close your eyes and get lost in that.

Elliott Smith - Rose Parade- Ignore the stupid video that someone put there, and just listen.
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
The Pixies - Where is my Mind?
Voxtrot - The Star of Something

If I'm depressed, I really enjoy reggae, especially the man, Bob Marley. Sublime is also good for that.

Angry is more stuff like Pantera, maybe some RAtM, or some melodic death metal.

Just chillin' is usually classic rock time, maybe a little bit of rap.

Have you guys ever heard of 5 Finger Death Punch before?
I just downloaded their song "The Bleeding" and I am finding it rather catchy.
Airbourne's "Too much too young too fast" is also good, though very AC/DC-esque.

I listened to an FM station last night for the first time in a long time, and it payed off.

When I feel like kicking back, I listen to Matchbox Twenty or Tupac.
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Oooh, I can field this one.

Torrent any Ministry of Sound Chillout albums you can find. Lots of nice relaxed stuff. MoS is a British label that puts out all kinds of great electronica but has also dabbled very successfully into the chillout genre.
"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

-FreeEnterprise, 21 April 2011.

Yup, he actually said that.

Usually, the more depressed I am the heavier/darker my music gets. The happier, lighter more fun stuff (Ska, Reggae, ect.)
