The goal was to reach 10 million by the end of the day, and already it's almost at 14 million.

How a candidate with so much support is getting so little attention by the media makes me sad.

You can watch the donations here.

Huh,

Neever really heard much about him. I was reading through his issues on his site.  Will be interesting to see.

Amen!

However in a 3 way deathmatch I think Alan Keyes could take them both :)

Alan Keyes seemed to be randomly in that last debate.

As for Ron Paul, he is a favorite among college student types.

I for one think he is a complete tool. and naive

Which makes perfect sense, because most deep thinkers want to buy their booty and weed legally. :)

Yep, someone who stands strong on his convictions and doesn't sway to the moderate to appease the masses is definitely a nutjob in this day in age.

Exactly. America is going downhill in a lot of ways lately and a president who isn't going to go in a new direction isn't going to solve many problems.

The fact that they have made it such a strong part of their campaigns to push the smaller parts of the platform are why I don't like them.  Ron Paul's publicity is fueled through wanna-be revolutionists on college campuses everywhere.  I just can't support a candidate who's main target base only likes him because of his liberal social ideals.

If all of Ron Paul's supporters are college students, then I wonder where all this money is coming from. Last time I checked, students aren't the richest people in America.

The man is a conservative, and holds nothing but conservative ideals, apart from the vote getting marijuana platform.

And what should the supporters of an inconsequential at best social idea have to do with you supporting a candidate or his views? If you didn't support every candidate because there are morons who are buying into a stupid platform then you would have no one to support.

He does not hold "nothing but conservative ideals", he also holds Libertarian and Constitutionalist ideas as well.

He's only going to elect a democrat. His "supporters" need him to really believe that he should run no matter what happens in the primary. Then he can siphon off 15% of the republican vote with a 3rdparty and make the hildabeast queen with a minority. Perot caused the same effect but he was not an ignorant patsy like ronnie.
