The a5 manual says I can only use .68 caliper paintballs in the gun. Does this mean its not safe to use larger bore size paint like .691?

No, .691 is close enough to 68 caliber that it will not make a difference with most barrels.  This warning is telling you not to use the other paint calibers that were/are available.  (I.e. no .40, .43, .50, .62, or .75 caliber paint.)

Hey Mack, you know where I can get some .62cal? There are a lot of people who'd kill you to get that info if indeed you did.

Kill me!?  No, I have no idea as to where any .62 cal paint can be found.  I only threw that in there because it was one of the calibers I knew was available at one time.  Repeat!  I do not know where there is any .62 caliber paint.

.62 caliber is the diameter used by SMG-60's.

I picked up 1500 rounds back in the day from Nelson, it was only a couple years ago too. Look up some blowgun sites. Or just google .62 caliber paintball.

Now if only i could get the darn thing working 100%

Oh boy, The Guy you may be in trouble.  Keep your doors locked.

Edited Note:  I can't believe I forgot to mention the 6mm airsoft paintballs in my earlier post.  Those don't work in .68 cal paintball markers either.

This is the link

This is where I got the paintball from.

It seems a rather short and hasty response. They sound pissed off. Somehow I doubt the really did destroy the molds.
