X-7 question

   do A-5 addon's work on the X-7?
I was thinking of getting a M-107 Shroud from OPSGEAR for my A-5 but i have a chance to get a X-7 but the question is will the M-107 shroud still fit as well as mag and stock thanks for any help!

	Welcome to the forum. Some parts will overlap - like barrels and some of the internals. The shrouds may or may not fit, depending on how it attached to your A-5. The shrouds that just slide over the barrel will fit any gun, but beyond that the front end of an X-7 is competely different from an A-5. Same for the stock. If is screws into the ASA it will fit, but the buttplate on the X-7 is different from the A-5, so buttplate replacements (like stocks and RVAs) will not fit. The mag I would generally not count on fitting, but you would have to try and see. The X-7 mag well is shaped to accomodate the specific X-7 mag, which doubles as a tool kit. I do not believe that most other mags will fit.

	thanks i think its featurres are: No set screws, Quick and simple installation, Lightweight steel body construction, Free floating barrel design. it covers the whole of the A-5 and i am not to sure on the mag, it features are that it has no screws and that it is a Quick and simple installation so i shall look around for more info. thanks again!

	I dont think it will fit the X7. The body is alot diferent.

	body shroud-i dont think it will fit, from the top sight rails of the x7 to the bottom sight rails on the x7 is alot longer than the a5(about 3/4 an inch) Edited by DOME_SHOT - 07 February 2008 at 4:11pm
