I was having problems with my 98C going full auto on me. Past experience has taught me that it is time to replace the rear bolt and sear. Since I had to order parts, I decided to drop an e-grip into it as well. Well that kit comes with a specail sear and spring which I installed, along with the new rear bolt. Assembled everything, cocked it, aired it up, pulled the trigger and it burped at me on auto again. Would give a couple second burp, then the bolt/sear would catch as it should, then when pulling trigger again, another burp session. Guess I am at a point where I don't know what else to do to solve the problem. Totally open for suggestions. Thanks, Lyle |

Did you take the sear catch off the trigger?
Its that metal piece with the spring. Just tap the pin out and remove it all. |

Is doing this a specific thing for the e-grip? I ask as it did same thing when I didn't have egrip. We have a couple other 98's that function just fine with the trigger return slide (assuming that is part you referred to). Thanks for the help.
