im gonna make a mix cd on old songs but i don't want to put any old song just the good ones. so tell what you think are the best songs that i should put

i'm talking about song that come out in the movie the sandlot and in the 50's

Picking out the "good" songs from the 50s is like picking out the "good" songs from the 90s. Too many genres, too many artists, too many variables.

Suggest you look up track titles from some sort of compilation sets... like Time Life or something, and pick out tracks from those. Those collections typically include most of the 'top hits' of any given era.
