I currently own a 98c. The only upgrade it currently has is a response trigger. I have recently begun playing more and want to upgrade my setup.
Should I just continue to upgrade my current gun? If so, what upgrades would you recommend? If not, what other gun would you recommend? P.S -- I only play woods ball. P.P.S -- Does the flatline break balls if your firing very quickly through it? Thanks for all the help! ![]() |

It depends how much you wish to upgrade, and if you how mcuh you are willing to spend at a single time (as in are you able to save for a few weeks and have money for a new marker) You might want just start by getting an HPA tank, and high end loader, and a barrel kit/ 2 piece barrel. That way if you get another gun you will be able to use those performance enhancing (and often necassary accessories), while still being able to use them on your current marker. This of course excludes the barrel kit/ 2-piece... but then all you would need to do is buy a new back. As for the flatline... I would not spend my money on it. You get increased range, but accuracy and the likelyhood of a hit breaking (paintball breaking upon impact) is reduced due to the increased distance (with the ball still exiting the marker at the same speed). |

I reccommend the J&J or Lapco over the flatline. as for upgrades otherwise do you have any electronics on it so far? if not you may want to look into ebolt, e grip, or RT. If ou get those then you may want to get either the cyclone or an electro hopper and centerfeed. Really it depends on the route you want to go. Personally though I was not a fan of the Flatline on the 98c.

Save your money. At most just get a new barrel (I recommend J&J). If you stick with the sport you might want a better marker along the line. And if you don't stick with the sport you have the happiness in knowing you didn't spend too much on it.
