Sisters are like slinkys. They're no fun till you watch them fall down the stairs.

The Gardners will steal the design, patent it, and sue everyone who tries to capitalize on it.

Not necessarily in that order.

This forum has been up for 8 years at least. Outside of the paint-howitzer, nothing brilliant has come of it.

If someone actually comes up with a decent idea and posts it on here, would Tippmann actually hear about it or would that person have to be an aggressive salesman? I mean this is the ideas forum, and most of the stuff people post is retarted, unrealistic, and badly thought out that it's not worth a second glance. What happens when someone comes up with something truly brilliant? |
So nice to know that everyone here is held in such high regard by somebody that can't spell.

There was a group of us that was working on a semiauto propane gun. I think that was a cool idea.
I think you are just pessimistic.

I never saw my blackpowder paintball pistol go into production...though even I admit it was a bad idea, full of flaws, and unimaginably dangerous. It would be reckless and irresponsible to shoot someone with a paintball that is propelled by blackpowder. Therefore, I've switched to smokeless powder, and it works perfectly. Tippmann, your move.

I think you're sensitive.
And did I say EVERYONE was stupid? No. Back in the day when I was on here uhhh.... 2 years ago? De Trevni was putting up this weird thing about a straight flatline. Something about oiling the bottom of his barrel and putting tape on the top. And than all the hundreds of paintball shot gun ideas. In fact, there was one called "paintball shot gun" which was loaded with air soft bb's. What the heck is that!? It's called air soft shot gun! You all think my barrel with the spike on it up in marker gallery is dangerous? Howabout spraying people with hundreds of small hard pellets at several hundred feet per second? One of them is bound to hit somewhere baaaaaaad.
You people over analyze, over criticize, thus taking stuff to seriously. Like this post for example, I won't hear the end of this one for a looooooong time!
Cause I'm a forum noob. lol

So what exactly did you expect to get out of this thread? You came on, and made a post basically slinging mud, calling us names, and insulting our intelligence. Did you expect us all to bow down, and shield our eyes from your supposedly superior intellect. You wanted to start a flame-fest, well you got one, thats for sure.

You are also very much so over-generalizing. Most ideas are totally disregarded. However designs have been thought out and added on here, have actually gone into production. Such as the Overdrive System.

The overdrive system was an idea that was originally psoted by Enos Shenk, and added on to by te members of this forum. Once convinced it was a solid idea, he created a couple guns that used this system. It's his system so i'm not going to go into details on it.
I believe he may try to get a patent on it. It was also the primary firing system for Project Irene.
