okay i was installing the cyclone, i at least i thought i was for my 98 custom. and the only reason i say that is because the new tippy's come with the ported power tube and you don't actually have to change it out, but im a newb so i didn't notice until i had all the little parts spread out. but i was putting the gas line back in and it refused to thread all the way in, i didn't pay attention to how far it was when i unscrewed it, but i absolutely couldn't screw it any further, is it supposed to have so many extra threads left unthreaded or did i screw up. i really need to know before i blow my gun up. thanks for you help guys...

It sounds like you crosstreaded it. Back it out and try again, VERY slowly.

hey, yeah i called tippmann and asked they said that was probably fine as long as i got around 5-6 solid turns in, it really doesn't matter how far or how many threads it screws in, its just important that theres a good tight seal. |
