E-grip question

I was doing a bit of research on the e-grip since i'm looking to replace my response trigger and i was wondering if it permits faster semi-auto capabilities because on this site:

 it claims that "On semi-auto mode, the E-Grip doesn't shoot noticeably faster than the stock trigger."

After playing around with my friend's invert mini, i became inlove with the light trigger pull and wanted that feel on my custom pro, along with the ripping bps. So I ask you guys this. Will I be able to shoot a LOT faster on semi-auto with the e-grip over the stock trigger?

Doesn't the bolt cycle for every trigger pull and release on semi-auto? I'm just asking because the article makes it seem as if you shouldnt expect any vast improvement over stock. I think that i was able to shoot 6-7 bps stock. I've also done the pen spring mod some other mods to facilitate finding the "sweet spot" on my response. I'm just hoping that the maker will cycle with every pull and release with no stutters with the e-grip.

I don't even use a spring on my e-gripped 98, and it works fine. The only thing is if I jump with the gun pointed straight up it shoots... I need to get a new, more walkable trigger though sometime soon, and when I'll probably mod it to be magnetic.

Haha yea that's what i wanted to say, 1 shot for pull AND release, not 1 per pull then 1 per release. Thanks guys. I'll prolly do the magnet mod when my APE board comes in the mail.

The WAS board E-grips aren't that new.  The original E-grips that you needed to use a screwdriver to change the modes and firing rates are ancient.  I still have my old (analog I call it) board in case something happens to my Rampage board.

edit: I'm leaning towards APE's magnetic trigger for the pro e.

I'm not 100% sure but...

Etrigger drops in for the 98 since the grips don't detach.

Egrip is the whole grip, used on A5s and X7s because you can replace the whole grip.

I don't know of any major differences.  They should basically have the same WAS board.

Anybody find that pressing the button in the grip a great hassle? especially
mid-game? I would usually use a paperclip or a micro-screwdriver. I'm
looking for a faster and easier on-the-go way to change modes... Any
suggestions?
