Can anyone recomend a good brand of remote? Also what is a remote with a slide check? I am using an A5 with an e-grip and a 16" opsgear M4 barrel, and I have a Pure Energy 20 oz bottle.

Pmi,  32 degrees,  I use PMI.  $35 or $40 most places. Both are great.
Sisters are like slinkys. They're no fun till you watch them fall down the stairs.

Thanks for the info. Does anybody know if Pure Energy is a good brand? I can get a delux Pure Energy remote with slide check and "bleed" for $59.99.

Oh ya sorry that in Canadian dollars, everything dost more in Canada even with our high dollar! Check out the prices at www.tacticalpaintball.ca and you'll see what I mean. It cost me $65 for my JT proshield.

My personal experience with slide check remotes is that it's always the first thing to fail...  O-ring, snap ring, something will go at the most inopportune time.  I use a remote, but one without a slide check.  I've had 4 slide check remotes, and only one without.  Take that at face value...

you have to keep the slide check VERY well oiled.  It is the one draw back to them but as long as you do your orings should be just fine.

I recomend getting the slide check honestly.  As long as you keep it oiled it is fine.  It allows you to ungas your marker in between rounds without turning off the air source completely.

I do it once before play and once after.  Thats it.  Sometimes not even that much.  You dont want it to gunk up just one drop goes along way.
