I just picked up my 98c from my local paintball store today after having an e-trigger and cyclone feed installed. It seems to have a couple issues tho. First, and less serious, is that the LED light does not flash orange the set amount of times to indicate which firing mode its currently in. The modes cycle normally, just no flashing indicator. The second and more troublesome issue, is that while in the 3 shot full auto mode, after i ramp up the first 3 shots, the forth trigger pull does nothing until I release it, and then the full auto begins. It continues shooting full auto until i press the trigger again... and then i have to hold the trigger a few seconds to deactivate it. While its activated, I can actually set the marker down and it will fire hands-free. The other firing modes seem to be working ok, its just the 3 shot full auto that doesn't behave.

I'm trying to avoid having to take it back to the shop to be fixed because i have a game in a couple of days. If anyone can help me out or even point me in the right direction, It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had the same problem. It is a short in the board. Only going to get worse over time. Do yourself a favor, call Tippmann, and send it back to them, they will replace for free. Had mine back in a week. It was shipped out same day they got it, and sent it back via UPS, if you call them, will give tracking number. The shop will probably charge you to fix or worse, say nothing they can do, that is what they told me(Cousin's sucks). They don't want to deal with any warranty work if over a week old. Go straight to Tippmann. Only cost me $6 to ship to them, Far less than money you going to spend just driving to paintball shop.

I sent mine in on Saturday(the 22nd) and had it back by Wednesday (the 26th). Not a bad turnaround if you ask me. Just send it to the service department with an address to ship it back and they'll fix it for you.
