    Posted: 31 March 2008 at 12:30pm

So i have had the gun for about 3 weeks now and i went out to play i quick pickup game and all of a sudden the cyclone feed stopped rotating inside. i could manualy feed a ball into the chamber but after every shot it just wont turn on its own. i havent taken it apart yet cause i had to come to work. the tank was just filled and i couldn't hear or see any leaks in the air line so it there something that may have happened inside that i should look for and is this a common issue for this style feed?

Any help would be great thanks guys.

Are you using CO2? If so was it still cold there?  Did you screw the tank in too much?  ANd finally the kicker... check the ratchet, did it break?
Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your...

yeah it is still cold here so im thinking it may have just been some liquid co2 in the gun keeping it from working. but i was running the gun on a remote setup so i was hoping that may have helped a little bit. and i havent had the time to take the peice apart to check the rachet so i may do that on my lunch break here at work.

most likely your ratchet is broken...

you can either call tippmann for a replacement ratchet [should be free], or you can purchase a after-market ratchet upgrade [which is metal, so it shouldn't break again..]

If he can still manually feed the marker, the ratchet isn't broken.

Ok, let's try asking this.  When the marker fires, do you get 1-2 shots and then it stops feeding? or does it just not feed at all??
