Seeing as how ICD is apparently out of business, and both promaster models are on sale, I was just wondering if it's worth spending about $30+ on the Lasoya version. What do you guys think? Your opinions will help greatly.

I don't see why not. ICD will still service their in-warranty markers. Vaporworks will do their non-warranty work.

From what I read the lasoya is the better one. Keep in mind you WILL need a new feedneck and an asa before you can play. I just sold my ICD promaster...it was well made.

Was just wondering from user experience if the lasoya version justifies the slightly higher price. I'm aware of the feedneck and asa, but thanks. Did you feel as if the reg needed to be swapped out or did suffice? I'd also like to hear of your experience with it; were the stock board, trigger, barrel good etc.

I heard that their regs were either good, or horrible. I know that when I was looking into one, I was going to get a new reg as soon as possible.

Actionvillage had em for about 170. It's too bad they're out of stock. =\ Well my other option was investing in a used alias timmy. We'll see, but thanks guys.

My dad has a Lasoya, and it works good for what he uses it for. The board doesn't have many features, but its fine for our type/amount of play and he and I both only really use semi. The reg worked out fine for us, I just re-lubed it for him out of the box and it has been good. Overall I think it is a good pick at that price point.
