Could be your asa, or your tombstone, make sure its properly inserted into your power tube. And get your marker chronoed.

not enough for that though.  Check you seals.  Turning up the velocity a lil will help too, although not too much.  Just go chrono somewhere and see if you are shooting the right speed.  could be too low.

Take your marker apart and make sure your bolt or power tube are not cracked.

Download the manuel from Tippmann's website and enlarge the print. What are you going to do when playing? Bring a laptop and ask the forum.

Ummm.. glasses? No offense, but I have to have my wife read me the info off of the back of spray paint cans because I am too cheap to buy reading glasses, and too vain to wear bifocals, but I can read my tippmann manual as clear as day. But seriously, look for a manual online if you dont have access to a scanner and enlarge it so you can read it. Its actually a good idea to have a copy of your manual with you when you are playing in case you need to disassemble/fix your maker at the park.

I think the point here is that you should not be operating the marker and/or doing anything to it until you have a full grasp of how it works and how to perform such basic functions as being able to adjust the velocity. Without knowing how to do this you are a danger to yourself and others.

Also if you have not adjusted it since buying the marker then yes the gun is shooing very hot.  Not knowing my cuz hadnt yet adjusted his velocity on his new tippmann, I played with him.  It hurt very badly so the next time we went and I found out he hadnt adjusted it and was shooting at 350 fps I was very very angry.  So yes your marker could be shooting very hot.

*edit* I now only play where a chrono is present.

Ok, if you can't read the manual, you are obviously legally blind and have no business handling a paintball marker much less shooting one.

You are a tool. I doubt you will get much additional help.
