Ok so i have an A-5 with the response trigger and after about 400 rounds out of a 20oz CO2 tank the response trigger stops working and about 30 shots after that the cyclone feed stops working and this happens every time. So i guess my question is, Is this normal or what could be causing the gun to go through air so quickly, none of the o-rings are bad i just checks eveyone of them even the tiny ones on the banjo bolts and the air lines. Any suggestions?

I thought the air usage is the same no matter what the velocity is set at unless your using air pressure to adjust the velocity.

How cold is it where you play?

What is your rate of fire (fast all the time or a shot here and there)?

Is your tank being filled properly?

Are there any leaks?

Is there snow or a cloud coming out of the barrel?

I find this is a normal question at the field i work at, and this may not apply to you.

It tends to happen to the same people no matter what gun they use. Tey spend about half an hour in the DMZ, dryfiring at nothingness, pretending to wrap poorly around invisible bunkers and shoot at nothing.

Then they go to the chrono, waste a pod of paint. Waste another pod walking to the starting box, and wonder why they ran out of air after a hopper and a half. "... must not be filling a full 3000"

Well, the A5 always has been notorious as a gas hog...

I wouldnt worry about something being wrong, until someone else shows up with an A5 and shoots twice the shots you do on the same size tank.

its not as bad of a gas hog as many think it is.  Stock it actually ended up dead middle of the pack in an experiment done.  make sure there are no leaks and make sure the tank actually was completely full.  I have seen proshops mess that up quite a few times.

Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your...
