together (so it has a longer pull), but it is still verry sensitive. the bottom one is the one im concerned about(the one that touches the solnoid). do u have any pics of where u have adjusted it? im now having problems with turbo, auto, burst, and response too |

Sorry, you're just going to have to join that forum to get into that thread. I'm sure there are plenty of other threads on the Duel Trigger there as well. That was just the first one I came across that had pictures and instructions. You could, like myself and others, just fiddle with the thing until you figure it out. I was one of the first people that ordered this when it first came out. I damaged my Egrip doing it because the instructions were so poor. But I figured it out and got the trigger pull down to 2mm without it going into autofire. I've forgotten more about that trigger than I've ever known about it, but if I tore my grip apart, I could probably figure it out again. Just join the A5OG and search for the JCS Duel Trigger like the JCS website says. You'll find what you need there. Edited by StormyKnight - 28 April 2008 at 6:21pm |

I think i fixed it... i think it was the thingy that touched the solnoid, i dont
really think the top one effected it..., but now i have a new problem. Ive been realizing that sometimes when i pull the trigger, it doesnt seem to release the bolt. i hear a muffled click, but nothing happens. is it that my battery is too weak? i use a Duracell Standard 9V. should i be using a Heavy-Duty battery? (i tried replacing it, and it fired about maybe 60 shots, than came the dreaded muffeled click" |

it might be or it might be the sylinoid (I know i spelled that wrong). try a diff battery and also make sure the arm pin isnt coming out of place. Its the long pin that hits the sear.

the sear is what catches the bolt. It is black and one of the upper parts of the trigger assembly. It looks like this... The arm (or armature) pin is the part that is in your grip that the sylanoid pushes up to trip the sear. it is a long metal rod in the grip. It is located in the grip when you remove the trigger assembly. There is a very slim chance that it is the problem but I have heard of it moving out of place or mushrooming at the top which could ,ake it an incorrect length. I have had mine for 5ish years now though and never had those problems so i doubt it is the pin but it never hurts to check. |

hitting the sear hard enough to release the bolt. is this the battery's fault? |

Only if it is pinching or otherwise pressing against the pin. Edited by StormyKnight - 30 April 2008 at 11:22am |
