Hey guys and gals just a quick question. I decided to polish the internals of the used A5 I Bought on ebay. Its pretty old serial # 086941. When I opened it up the inside is black, like it was painted. It looks like alot of the black paint has been worn off from use. Do old Tippmanns have black internals or is the guy I bought it from a complete idiot?

No, everyones got that problem. Np really, I used scotchbrite pads to get all the paint off, then used mother's polish to get it all nice and shiny, THEN teflon polished it. Smooth, real smooth.
Some people use fine grain sandpaper to do the job, but I didn't want to sand off any metal. Whatever works for you though.
