I was curious about whether the topic of color change for the forum patch has ever been discussed. Is it even open for discussion? Don't get me wrong, I like it, but that green's screamin' and I've always wondered if OD green was ever tossed around. I don't think it detracts from the patch, just makes it a wee-bit more tactical. Comments please.

Making it a more subdued OD has been tossed around in the past. A lot of us have actually just 'subdued' the current ones... I let mine soak in coffee mush for a while til the stains set.
If General Consensus dictates, anyone who wants to take on the patches for the next run can change the color up. That person won't be me.  I don't have the funds to front the expense anymore... and with the various postage increases since I set the price, I'm actually losing a little money with each patch purchase (as opposed to breaking-even, which was the original intent).
I have about 100 left... once those are used up... I'm passing the torch on to the next guy. CaffineAddict did a great job with the initial run... I tried to follow suit with the second... someone else will have to step up to the plate next go-around. Edited by ShortyBP - 02 June 2008 at 6:48am |
