	If it is 98 threaded it should work fine. What's the adapter for?

	Im pretty sure this barrel is the same one i just got, it works on the spyder and tippmann, the barrel is fit for the spyder and that screws into the adapter to fit the tippmann. I honestly dont think it is that great annd im gonna probably return it and get a rifled barrel, j&j or something.

	Tippmanns have 2 different battel threads, 98 and A5/X7. Headshot789, please specify which you're using. By the way, rifled barrels don't do anything, don't waste your money.

	I am pretty sure that the Stryker 12" Carbon Fiber barrel is the one that you can buy at walmart/canadian tire and they will work on the 98 custom, but you have to put the adapter on. My friend has this barrel, but honestly dont buy the barrel just becasue it says carbon fiber. If you want a good barrel for cheap people here will always recommend J&J ceramic or the Lapco bigshot. I personally use a Smartparts Linear barrel and I am happy with it.
